Verger

Incarnation has one Verger, Chris Frazier. Vergers work alongside the clergy to make sure everything is ready for every worship service.  They lead each procession, direct the acolytes, and assist clergy in whatever they need to make sure the service runs seamlessly. Chris is studying to become a Fellow of the Vergers Guild.

Lectors

This ministry is open to all adult members of Incarnation.  They assist the worship by reading the Holy Scriptures assigned for that day.  Verger Sandy Gentry coordinates the readers.

ACOLYTES

Acolytes assist the clergy in processing with the cross, torches, flags, banners and the gospel. They also help the clergy set the altar, receive the offering from the ushers, and prepare for communion.
